In 1960 Hans Wegner came out the Ox chair showed the less serious side of Wegner's designs. Much of his previous work had been in the mid century Danish tradition, featuring exposed wood frames and minimal upholstery. The Ox chair is a striking design with a large and supportive seat base and a "horn” headrest. The Ox Ottoman completes the Ox chair forming a comfortable and striking modern lounge chair set.
Our Ox Chair is made to the specifications of the original. We use your choice of high quality full-aniline-dyed, Italian leather over a high density foam cushion, providing both comfort and durability. The base is high polished stainless steel. The Ox Chair will fit with any variation of modern decor, perfect for hotel lobbies, reception areas or your living room. It is a fine example of the modern lounge chair.
